"Nicki T. was an answer to prayers, literally. I am a Texan who’s favorite country is Switzerland, and when I got engaged, I knew that I wanted to get married in the mountains in Switzerland. As I started researching wedding planners in Switzerland online, I came across Nicki’s website, and as I read her details and bio, I immediately reached out to her, hoping she was available! Nicki was better than I could have hoped. I have been in the corporate event industry for 20 years, so I came with all of the experience of planning, and the expectations for a top-level, incredible event! Nicki exceeded my expectations. I had an idea of what I wanted, and she was able to take my “high-level” vision, and propose the most incredible and memorable event of my life. We had a three-day event that encompassed literally ALL of the elements that I had shared in my vision, during our first conversation.
I cannot recommend Nicki highly enough! From our very first meeting, it was clear that she is incredibly creative, knowledgeable, and confident in what she does — and rightfully so! Her eye for detail and her ability to bring unique ideas to life truly made our wedding day feel personal and unforgettable.
What really set her apart was how thorough and detail-oriented she was throughout the entire planning process. She stayed completely on top of everything, never missing a beat. She kept me in the loop with regular updates, always followed up on every little detail, and ensured that we stayed perfectly on schedule. I never once had to chase her for anything — she was always a step ahead. This was extremely important as I was planning a destination wedding from Texas!
Her communication skills are outstanding. She explained things clearly, listened to my vision, and helped turn it into reality with skill and professionalism. I felt completely confident putting my wedding in her hands — and she absolutely delivered. Honestly, my friends couldn’t believe how relaxed I was. Normally when I’m “onsite” for an event I have planned, I get in the weeds. Under normal circumstances, I would have asked for details on the vendor deliveries, wanting to see the photos of the event space, etc, but because I felt so confident in Nicki’s skills, I was able to be a bride and enjoy my guests and my wedding. We had over 100 guests traveling from the United States and I couldn’t believe how many guests remarked “this was the most incredible wedding we have ever been to..” I kept giving all of the credit to Nicki. I would say “I had the most incredible wedding planner!” And they knew what this meant, coming from me, a seasoned corporate event planner.

"Our wedding could not have been more perfect and it was all thanks to Nicki! She was incredibly thorough during the entire process from our initial conversation all the way through to the ceremony. Her local expertise made the entire planning process so much more easy for us and having her around during our big weekend really helped to put our minds at ease.
We decided on a whim that we wanted to get married in Switzerland (we are from Florida in the United States). We had no idea where to have our ceremony but Nicki scouted out a bunch of different areas for us, sent us videos and photos and we decided together on the perfect location. During our year of planning we never even had to visit Switzerland because we had complete trust in Nicki. We were always in contact via texting, Zoom calls, emails, etc.. From the day we arrived, too days after the wedding she was with us every step of the way.
Nicki also helped us pick out the best vendors, all of them from the rehearsal dinner to the make-up artist to the photographer and videographer. Every vendor she picked was perfect for our special day, priced correctly, and delivered on their services brilliantly. We even had a last minute disruption with our DJ that she handled without us even needing to know about! We had a gathering with our entire wedding party at the top the mountain that was planned completely by her and it was one the highlights of our trip.
On the day of the wedding she made sure everything went according to plan. Our wedding day started at 6 am and didn’t end till after midnight, an eighteen hour day. We took a train up Gornergrat to take photos with the photographer and videographer she suggested and she was with us every step of the way. She made sure we stayed on time for every event of the day, eased our minds regarding any potential issues, and overall just made the entire experience as stress free and enjoyable as possible!
We honestly could not have asked for a better wedding planner and would highly recommend her for any wedding! We get asked all the time if there was anything we would do differently on our wedding day, and thanks to Nicki we can confidently say no. We had the best day of our lives and she played a major role in it."
"Nicki is an absolutely terrific wedding planner, and working with her was a true pleasure. We could not have been happier with our choice. Our wedding was no easy task: we are based in San Francisco and had a vision for a multi-day/multi-cultural celebration in Switzerland. This helped make the day feel smooth and well-organized.
- Creative problem-solving: Nicki excelled at always applying a problem-solving lens, often pushing for creative solutions to drive to better value-for-money solutions. She is a strong negotiator, and is undeterred by hurdles or complications to arrive to the best answer for her clients.
- Dependable: Nicki quickly earned our trust and peace-of-mind given her reliability and dependability. This was an essential attribute that helped put us at ease.
- Caring, thoughtful: Above all, Nicki provided care and personal touches on the weekend of our celebration, to make us feel our most comfortable. She is very thoughtful and caring, and this was very appreciated.

"Nicki and her team were incredible! When we decided to plan our destination wedding, we definitely knew that we would need someone exceptional to coordinate and make everything seamless. And we found her! During our initial call, Nicki was very professional, thorough and attentive to each detail, and took her time to learn of our wishes for the wedding. She coordinated all the vendors and planned the day schedule, and kept everyone in the loop throughout the whole planning process. Not only was she supremely organized, efficient, professional and supportive she was also extremely kind and a joy to work with. We were able to host an 80ish person wedding with over 15 nationalities coming from over 20 different countries in our home country (where neither of is from originally from) with very minimal stress. Thanks to Nicki and her team our multi-day affair appeared to run without a hitch (and we all know that is nearly impossible to do, or even appear to do). "When planning our wedding we were confronted with many decisions, but by far the best one we made was working with Nicki at Souvenir Weddings. Among the challenges we faced were: living in two different countries; planning from abroad; having guests from around the world; and being particular about design and food—we needed to ensure we had a wedding planner that was up for these challenges, and Nicki more than rose to the occasion. From the very first meeting to following up with vendors post wedding, Nicki has been at the top of her game, helping us navigate everything with ease. "We had a four day wedding in Switzerland and it was a literal dream and could not have happened without Nicki. I dont even know where to begin. Nicki was everything and more that you could ask for in a wedding planner. I imagine working with international clients without meeting them and planning one of the most important days of their lives is hard. Nicki spends the time to really get to know you and what you are looking for. She guides you with her expertise on what makes a great wedding but ensures that it’s everything you want. It can be hard making decisions and choosing vendors without us having been able to meet them or even speaking the same language and Nicki helped with all of this. I thought most of the Nicki’s work would be done with planning but I was so wrong. She coordinates and make sure that every moment is magical. She works tirelessly from setting up, to helping you get ready, preparing everyone with whats ahead, helping you make decisions, coordinating with vendors and hotels, staying calm, and having fun. Throughout the process Nicki also became a friend. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients and it is clear how much passion and purpose that her job gives her. She is great with helping with PLAN B (when weather doesn’t go your way). And truly makes everything run so smoothly. I have heard from so many friends how stressful planning a wedding is (and though that may still be true to some degree) I did not feel one ounce of stress the moment the wedding weekend started because I knew we planned and prepared and that Nicki would take care of it all. "Wow! 5-stars doesn’t seem enough!! Nicki went above and beyond!! It’s hard to put into words how truly grateful we are for all the hard work Nicki put into making our wedding the most magical day of our lives! From start to finish, working with Nicki was a dream! She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and passionate about providing an unforgettable and stress-free service, which enabled my husband and I to relax and enjoy our special day with our loved ones. "Our advice to anyone who is planning to get married: Do not hire a wedding planner, hire Nicki.
On paper, Nicki helped us to organise our wedding. In practice, she did much more than that. From our first meeting to the days after our wedding, Nicki accompanied us through the whole process of defining what kind of wedding we want, what will be important elements to us, what are our options, and how do we manage any obstacles on the way. She does this in a way that is never invasive or pushy but always mindful, kind, and highly professional.
Nicki has an exceptional talent for asking the right questions and translating your answers and wishes into actions. No matter what problem you throw at her, she will find a solution that not only solves the original issue but actually makes you think that now you have gained something on top. A real Swiss knife for organising weddings and events!
It goes without a saying that she fully satisfied all the "basics" of what an international wedding planner promises: She fluently speaks an incredible number of languages, quickly followed up on any items left open after our meetings, smoothly ran the event organisation on the day itself, and found us all the vendors that we were looking for, including an incredible wedding venue that exactly matched our expectations.

"Nicki and her team created an absolutely flawless wedding experience for my daughter. All I can say is that they seemed to disappear into the background while seamlessly working throughout the day (and weeks before) to allow the wedding and reception to unfold completely naturally and effortlessly for my daughter, her spouse, and everyone in attendance. As the father of the bride, I was naturally anxious that two things happen: 1) my daughter not spend the day worrying and 2)everyone have a splendid and memorable time. Although I have extremely high standards (being a physician), my expectations were happily exceeded by the professionalism of Nicki and her team.
Specifically, they prepped the rooms for the various events well-ahead of time and meticulously; they integrated perfectly with the hotel staff and catering; they visited the site ahead of the event to make sure everything would go well; and they packed up everything at the end of the night to make the next morning a joy for us.
I rarely if ever write reviews, but felt happy to give five stars based upon my experience as compared to the many weddings I have attended elsewhere."
"I would never have thought of myself as a person who would use a wedding planner/coordinator for their wedding and now I can't recommend it enough. We were so lucky to have Nicki's help to plan and coordinate our wedding. She was consistently responsive and flexible which made the planning process super easy. I loved how she always thought of so many things that were totally not on my radar. She also had great advice on negotiating with vendors which saved us a lot. Another thing we really liked was that she speaks English and German, perfectly. This was very helpful for interacting with all the vendors and our guests!
